PREVIOUS PASSENGERS COMMENTS - THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO ALLOWED ME TO USE THEIR COMMENTS!

( I've only used a few from the many - thank you.)

Mr and Mrs J.L., Winter Gardens, Florida, U.S.A.: Dear Charles, Joe and I want to thank you for the wonderful weekend trip into France and Belgium. I dont know how you ever managed both arranging the excellent facilities and itinerary-not forgetting the rides through the beautiful countryside and your awesome knowledge-so interesting and enjoyable. We could recommend your trips to anyone and in fact will do so,not forgetting again the humor, good food, good accommodation and also the touching, poignent moments. You know how nowadays they rate things on a 1 to 10 basis?- we give your trip a 10+++! Thanks for an unforgettable time.

Mr and Mrs S.P.,Petts Wood, England: Dear Charles, I've been meaning to write to say how much we enjoyed the battlefield tour. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as did everyone else, if looks are anything to go by......thanks again for a super tour.

Mr and Mrs A.R., Lee on the Solent,Hampshire,England: Just a line to thank you for a most enjoyable weekend trip to the battlefields, full of memorable experiences. Your very wide knowledge of the battlefields, cemeteries and monuments and of the roads, lanes and villages that cover the area helped greatly in my understanding of the background.

C. und H. R.,Duisburg, Germany: Dear Charles, We would like to thank you very much for to have made it possible for us to join you on this memorable journey. Needless to say how deeply we were moved by your friendship and sympathy you and all the members of the group apparently felt towards us, when we were standing by the side of our fathers grave.
We did appreciate your perfect organizing the journey, the splendid hotel we stayed and dined at. From experience we know how difficult it is to make the necessary preparations for a tour like this without failing to remember even the slightest detail.
We especially admired the knowledge you showed of what happened in the course of the battle on the Somme and your ability to even in fog und (sic) poor weather take us to places worth seeing. We know that all this involves a great deal of research and experience as a guide to the battlefields where the youth of so many countries let alone of your country fought and lost their lives and the multitude of cemeteries where they lie buried, all of them dearly loved and sadly missed by their families. Please convey our regards and best wishes to the members of the group if and when you speak to them. It was a great experience to have made this visit to our fathers grave with you, the British.
Herman Romberg

Dear Charles, Thanks for introducing me to the land, the people and the sorrow that is the Somme - surely a corner of a foreign field that is forever England. Steve.

Our thankyou's seem totally inadequate for what you have done for us. The Captain of a USS Warship.

Rotary Club of W.,Hampshire,England: Dear Charles, Many thanks indeed for coming to talk to us on Wednesday. I believe they were enthralled with your subject (I have not heard them so quiet for a long time). I will be in touch with you ....for a possible return visit.

About this web site :

Approximately 14,000 Canadians landed in Normandy on D-Day. The Canadian assault force suffered 1,074 casualties, of which 359 were fatal. If you can contribute a short post or simply some photos on/about Canadian soldiers in Normandy, I'd be glad to post a link to your site. Lest we forget.... the price that was paid for our freedom.. ( Info added my friend and thank you )

For a history lover like myself, this is truly a valuable resource.

This is a very nice site honoring the fallen in two world wars. My Father-in-Law fought 4 years in Europe during WWII, and would have loved your site. Unfortunately, for those he left behind, he passed away a year ago and is sorely missed. I will never forget the stories he told me. Thanks for creating this. I've already saved it to my favorites. May all go well for you!.

Clear and easy to navigate around, very user friendly. The pictures alone make me want to book a battlefield tour, good website that all should visit. No matter what your political alliance may be, everyone should honor all veterans of all wars for their sacrifices, whether a popular war or not..
The strongest point of this site are the pictures which have almost as much impact as being there. Reason that I looked at this site is that my husband and I were in Northern France two years ago and spent a little time travelling around the memorial sites that are a plenty in that area and it was a very emotional experience. If we were planning another guided trip we would happilly use the services that you provide..

This is a fantastic site with a lot of good information about tours of World War I and II sites. This site is worth visiting by all history lovers and lovers of freedom every where! Great job!.

Clear and a very easy website to navigate around, very user friendly. The pictures alone make me want to book a battlefield tour, good website in a genre that interests me a lot.

Excellent site offering a unique experience. Well laid out, great pictures, and an air of reverence in place of the usual tourist attraction feel. Well done! .

Everybody should visit this site if not to book at tour but just to reflect on the folly of war.Excellent!.

I enjoyed your site. Interesting posts, great pics, easy loading, easy navigation. However much I like your post, 500 times that I hate war of any kind. I really appreciate the sacrifices of so many, but it is so hard to grasp so much evil and killing in this world.
